So many people want this war to end; so many actions are called for and even followed through by a few good men and women, but nothing gets done. This call from Harper's expresses the despair of so many of us, but it says what is needed is real action. The media doesn't cover even fairly big marches. What we need is to affect people's lives -- a strike might really work, but we need to be united. Too many efforts water the impact of so many people so consistent in their opposition to the war. I'm only hoping that the students, both high school and college can lead the way against this war -- you have the power to reach millions, you are the internet generation - but you need to coalesce on a strategy that united we can make a difference.
