Dominican school students on strike protesting lack of water
BARAHONA.- For lack of tap water at the San Rafael high school in the demarcation of San Rafael here, students took the streets to demand that service be reinstated.
The students that for some five months have been suffering bad odors and discomforts informed that the lack of water has caused sanitary services to malfunction.
Protestors marched on the main street way, with rocks, sticks, and burning rubber tires, causing traffic jams and accidents on the throughway.
